 One of our long-term dreams is now being realized! Through our
partnerships with churches, foundations, individuals and team members,
YWAM Budapest
has recently purchased a 9,300 sq.ft. facility in the heart of Budapest
for the purpose of establishing a Youth Ministry Center. The main
purpose of the center is to facilitate many kinds of evangelistic
and discipleship oriented events geared toward reaching the lost
and
establishing young Hungarian believers in their faith. These include
a coffee house, follow up Bible studies, musical and cultural events,
drama presentations, and ministry training, all aimed at presenting
the Gospel of Jesus Christ to non-Christian young people and seeing
them discipled, trained, and released in ministry. In addition, the
facility will provide office space and serve as an operations center
for the broad range of ministries in which YWAM is involved, both
in Hungary and the other Balkan countries. We believe God is opening
this door for us in the center of the city to be a lighthouse from
which the truth of God's salvation will shine. |
