Jesus showed us the best way to learn is to DO. Our schools combine excellent classroom teaching with many opportunities DO real ministry and apply what you're learning.

Start with a DTS and then learn to lead worship through our SOW (School of Worship) or go in depth with the Bible in our 9 month SBS (School of Biblical Studies).

SOW (School of Worship)

Starts Jan 8, 2007

Prerequisite: DTS or CDTS

The SOW is a 5-month course designed to raise up worshippers, passionate for Jesus and skillfully trained, who will glorify God and go into all the world declaring His name among all the nations.

The SOW is an intensive Christian training course beginning with a 12 week lecture/teaching phase followed by an 8 week practical field assignment (optional). The SOW is designed to encourage students in their personal character development, cultivating a living relationship with God and identifying their unique gifts and callings in God. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are a special emphasis throughout the course, preparing the students to reach current and future generations and answer the call to go into all the world and disciple all the nations.

The purpose of SOW is to bring biblical perspective, training and understanding as we explore together how and why we worship God. We believe that true worship can cross the socio-cultural barriers that exist today among people and nations.

During the course we will offer concentrated times of skill development and training in areas of songwriting, vocals, musicianship, and music theory as well as worship leading and managing a worship music team.

SBS 9 Month Course

September 2007

Prerequisite: DTS

The 9-month SBS is an in-depth look at every book in the Bible through inductive study. Students during the 9-month SBS will also be involved in the YWAM ministries in Budapest and will have time to interact with the DTS that runs at the same time.

The lectures complement the student's individual study by providing additional material concerning the historical setting and main theological themes of each book. The course will also include practical training in preaching and leading small group Bible studies.

During your SBS you will have opportunity to work along side YWAM Budapest missionaries and join the various ministries that reach out to Budapest including feeding the homeless, English Conversation classes, Coffee Bar, Street Outreach, Prostitute ministry, and Seekers Bible studies. We know that this combination of study and practice will be a powerful time for you.
